The Indicators are Float Operated with a steel target that runs vertically up and down, Registering tank contents on a calibrated Board that is mount, outside of the tank for quick convenient readings.

The Sturdy design and Stainless steel construction of the Float is resistant to the corrosive effect of Petroleum products and assures a long dependable use.

For highly corrosive liquids the float can be supplied in material such as P.V.C, Poly Propylene or Glass. The Float cable used to Secure the float to the Target Indicator is also of Stainless Steel.

Dust Proof Pulley hosing with PTFE Bush bearings assures smooth rotation of pulley as PTFE requires no lubrication and reduces friction to an absolute minimum.

Indicator target guide wires are galvanized steel. The target assembly is constructed of steel and furnished together with all of the other items listed above as standard equipment.

The board on the side of the tank which is supplied only when specified is of heavy gauge aluminium channel construction having controlled cross-sectional geometry. The indicator gauge board has bold legible markings in inches and feet with easy to read numerals every foot. The board can also be calibrated in the metric system, decimal system or special calibrations as may be required for the application. When indicator gaugeboards are specified all brackets and fittings necessary for mounting and installation are included.

Where it is necessary to store solvents under slight pressure liquid seal can be installed which will retain the flammable or toxic vapours within the tank and prevent excess vapour loss.
